Star of Canaan Dance International Ballet Competition (SCDIBC)

The Star of Canaan Dance International Ballet Competition aims to discover talents in dance and nurture them into remarkable world-class dancers. It is a stage for all future exceptional dancers from different nations to showcase their knowledge and skills in ballet and contemporary dance. Directors of various prestigious institutions, including Elmhurst Ballet School, Ballet Theatre UK and Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida are invited as judges to select outstanding competitors to enroll in these schools and ballet companies, and award them scholarships. Not only does the competition inspire young dancers to challenge themselves in attaining higher technical levels and to perform with artistry and confidence, it also provides valuable opportunities for them to gain international exposure and train under renowned masters of ballet.
